We are excited to present our Spring Happenstance Concert on June 14 at the WEDS performance Hall at 199 Currie Road, Dutton, ON at 7:00 PM. This year we are excited to have as our special musical guests the Barclay Road Brassworks. Once again tickets will be free but donations would be appreciated.

Eight alumni of Henry Meredith’s famous Plumbing Factory Brass Band formed the Barclay Road Brassworks in 2019. A unique and flexible ensemble, we play a wide variety of music: from covers of pop and jazz charts, to mostly our own arrangements (often tongue-in-cheek) of the classics from the 16th century to the present day, to original compositions written by and for us. While we’re partial to the mellow sound of the tuba family, most of us play several instruments–including toy percussion and whistles, as required.
